On Saturday, I attended the Full Figured Fashion Week Industry fashion show. I went alone because Jeka couldn't attend. I know, I know it not La Maison Deux without her! So I strapped on my ankle boots and put some drops in my cut eye and headed to Wall Street! So sad that FW came to an end but of course I have my fave picks of each designer! I am definitely going to buy a couple of these dresses and ahem* lingerie. I love dressing up and attending fashion shows. I am usually the one behind the scenes, in my black slacks and flats, assisting with production. Though its not the most glamorous part, it really is the best feeling in the world to be a part of it. But alas, I arrived in my SimplyBe dress which I will post below and waited to find my seat and enjoyed the show! Since I took more than 400 photos of the show, I had to narrow them down. I wish I can include them all but you'd be scrolling until next week! Let's see who made my favorites...
All our favorite bloggers at the Fashion Front! I secretly played Where's Waldo in this pic.
Met Rikke Klint of Sticky Sweet Danish. She looked really beautiful.
Parker Simmons of Every Day Runway. She's such a dollface!
I don't know who this girl is, but she looked stunning. I wanted that headpiece!

This dress by is amazing. Once I saw it I knew I had to have it. It's only $89 on Sonsi. I thought it would be expensive! SWAK designs beautiful garments that look chic and youthful, not to mention this one is convertible. Like Jessica Simpson would say "It's a twofer!" Getting this for me!

The coral toga inspired dress is body flattering and easy! This style was seen on the runway by different designers. As you will see, the trend for fall goes from form fitting to loose and comfortable. The one shoulder metallic dress definitely impressed me! It says class, style and sophistication. I can picture any curvy starlet in this at the Emmy's! Evie Foster will be available to order July 2012.
Eyanie Couture really impressed me. It is fashion forward and avant garde. You rarely see that in the plus size world. The collection was risky and overall tailor made.
Ashley Stewart is a world recognized, plus size brand. They're best know for their contemporary designs and awesome price points. Looks like peplums are here to stay! I personally have a few of their pieces in my closet. Congrats on winning Retailer of the Year! Shop the looks here.
My sister and I adore Lane Byrant. We spent our gift card we won at the shop and swap in May on bras; they're the best! I love the printed dress and jump suit, it will be making its way to my closet soon! Let's talk lingerie. I think us curvy ladies want to find something sexy and fun for our partners, don't you? Lane Byrant has never shied away from lingerie, in fact, they promote it! It was refreshing to see LB's naughty side on the runway. Shop Lane Bryant lingerie here.
The Pretty Pear Bride did a small presentation of bridal wear. If I were a bride to be, this would be my ideal dress!

After the fashion show, there was an awards ceremony. I tried to get pics of everyone but there were so far. I did get a good pic of Marie Denee, The Curvy Fashionista. She won blogger of the year! Congratulations again! Here she is wearing Sydney's Closet and she was working that dress!
Fabulous women conversing during the break. I spy Nadia Aboulhosn.

Here's my OOTD. I am wearing Frock & Frill from SimplyBe. I purchased this dress a month ago not for any particular occasion but I decided this would be comfortable and chic for a fashion event. Thank goodness it was wasn't 100 degrees out! NYC has been getting strange weather lately. What do you guys think? Thanks to Nadia for taking my pics! You're a sweetie pie! :)
